Biggest lie on the internet…

… I have read these terms and conditions…

Or in my case, I didn’t read how a website works. I ordered a shirt from http://www.zulily.com I gotten an e-mail everyday showing me new items for sale, but I kept waiting for a shipping confirmation, and I got an e-mail finally explaining why. The estimated arrival date of my shirt (which is very lovely) zu12233033_main_tm1406145661is August 11th. Almost an entire month after I placed my order. Now I understand this is a first world pain, but I’m kinda spoiled by Amazon Prime. I order something, it gets here in 2 days. Zulily works this way: they show you the clothes for sale, you order them, they wait until the sale ends, then order the clothes from the manufacturer, which get shipped to Zulily, who then ships them to you. Almost seems like an extra middle man in there.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: My Oldest Fandom

My second oldest fandom. My first was Transformers, simply because Transformers came out before Turtles.

Scruffy-Looking Nerd Herder

This is it.  This is where my path to nerdom started.  Back in the late 1980s, I saw the first five episode story arc for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I was hooked.  The Nostalgia Critic can say what he wants, but I still love them.  Thinking back, I regret looking at Biker Mice From Mars and Samurai Pizza Cats as “shoddy knock off” cartoons, but at the time, they just didn’t stand up.  Back then, Michelangelo was definitely my favourite, but now with my age and wisdom I’ve grown to love them all equally.    I remember sporting my TMNT  backpack on the first day of kindergarten ready to identify myself as a Ninja Turtle fan – just in case that was the kind of thing that might come up when one learnt the alphabet and how to colouring inside the lines.  I still have all my action figures, and…

10 Ninja Turtles Movie Facts – Black Nerd Comedy

So I was on youtube about to look for the music video of One Republic’s Till the Love Runs Out and due to my massive watchage of TMNT trailers, suggested videos were TMNT trailers. I figured I’d watch the “Threat” trailer and the “Knock Knock” trailer and then the “Brothers” trailer. Then I noticed this movie facts video. Holy smokes, I found a TMNT 2014 Soul Mate. He has all the same worries about the movie I had. (Except I’m all for an adult dark TMNT movie.) Oh and the Ad on the front of the video was a TMNT trailer. *snicker*
